This is a notice to all our members and visitors that the Norfolk Wildlife Trust will need to close Broadwater Road to carry out essential repair work in the second half of June. This is scheduled from 13th-28th, but dates may vary and please check our blog at https://holmebirdobs.blogspot.com for updates. The NOA reserve itself will remain open to visitors, and access will still be possible on foot from the public car park near Holme Golf Course, and from Thornham Harbour. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but ask for your understanding while the repairs take place. THANKYOU!
Please be aware that repairs to the coastal footpath at Holme are currently scheduled to begin in early July, and may affect access to the Observatory. We will give further information when received, via the NOA blog and website.
NOA would like to thank all visitors for their responsible behaviour throughout the pandemic and hope they will continue to act responsibly. Should the situation change in the future then we may need to re-impose restrictions, though we hope that this won't be necessary. For the time being the Observatory building and ringing lab access restrictions will stay the same, with entry for staff only. Full use of our hides is now restored.
Our Christmas Eve Birdwatch was another success with 105 species seen on the day! Read the full trip report here. You can still donate to the birdwatch at click here or email your pledge to us at pledge@ THANK YOU!
